Thanks for taking the time to learn more about us! We developed this online-based worship planning software as a tool to help worship directors and pastors manage their time more efficiently.

So let’s introduce ourselves! We are Joe and Anneke Jones and we have been worship directors and pastors for many churches over the years. At one point we found ourselves managing six different worship teams at once! As you could imagine this was not always a simple task as every time a new song was introduced, photocopies would have to be made of all the chords’ charts, all the team members would need to listen to the song, and then team members would have to be trained on how to play that song. So having a central location that provided all these tools was desperately needed and we found that there will always be areas in our systems that can be streamlined.

With every worship order set, it became difficult to keep everyone on the same page. Finding a way to deliver our song list to the senior pastor, sound team, PowerPoint media team, and worship team was a full time job in itself as every department had unique needs. The sound team just wanted the song list, the PowerPoint media team wanted lyrics with copyright information, and the band members wanted chords, mp3 files, and training if needed. If any of the files got lost, it was back to the printer (a.k.a square one) for a second batch. This is where we found ourselves sometimes stepping out of a worship atmosphere and into a time consuming, task oriented role.

We found that regardless of a church’s size or the amount of resources they have that there are always aspects that waste time and draw away from the end goal of providing meaningful worship. As a leader (chances are if you’re reading this, you’re in a leadership role!) you are probably pulled in many different directions every single day. So wouldn’t you agree that effective leadership is built upon consistent communication? The Bible says that “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might” - Ecclesiastes 9:10. So if you are called to such an important role as leading your church in worship, shouldn’t you be focusing most of your time on the actual worship and less about the logistics of it? This is precisely why we developed QuickWorship as a tool to help you focus on the most important thing, spending more time in worship.

So after many hours of not using our time to the best of our ability, we sat down and came up with this system. We understand this may not meet every single need you have, but we are always open to suggestions and comments.
